Kimberly Conners
Kimberly studied metalworking, stone-carving, bookbinding, and graphic design while in college, but her journey took a transformative turn when she discovered a passion for museums during a study-abroad program in Lima, Peru. After graduation, she studied mount-making, installation, acrylic fabrication, and graphic production with expert fabricators. Her resume includes projects with nationally known museums such as the County Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the formation of the National Museum of African American Music. Additionally she has conducted extensive conservation, relocation, and exhibition work at the Tennessee State Museum.
Duke Lockert
Duke holds a BFA in fine arts and printmaking, and, as a natural problem-solver, he has broadened his expertise to include other fields such as plastic fabrication, metal forming, general construction, graphics, machining, carpentry, and screen printing. These abilities make him a well-rounded fabricator who can make any idea a reality. Like Kimberly, Duke accumulated vast hands-on experience in mount-making and fabrication, including his work on the expansion and renovation of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
